This week is "Anti-bullying Week."  We are having competitions, assemblies, and activities to encourage treating others respectfully, and not tolerating bullying.  Today, students had an opportunity to design a T-shirt with an anti-bullying theme.  The judging will be later this week. Tomorrow there will be an assembly, and there will be other activities later in the week.  

This week also our class is doing a practice AIMS test for reading.  This helps students become familiar with what the AIMS test is like, as well as helping see what areas may need some additional instruction and practice.

Don't forget our School-wide Spelling Bee tomorrow at 9:15 am in the South Gym!  Although none of the students in our class made it to the finals, there is one 3rd grade speller in this Bee.  You are welcome to come and encourage her and the other spellers.  The winner of this bee will represent Heritage in the regional spelling bee later this year.
