Thanksgiving Update and Homework

Don't forget our class presentation of "The Pilgrims' First Feast" tomorrow at 2:00 pm. Parents are specially invited. (You should have received your invitation already!)

Also, don't forget that progress reports went out on Friday. Please sign and return one copy as soon as possible.

Field Trip

There is no homework tonight, except to read for 15 minutes.
Our field trip is tomorrow and all the students are very excited about it! I have talked to (or left messages for) all chaperons. It should be a great trip.
Some reminders:

• Students need to wear uniform shirts, but can wear jeans or uniform long pants.
• Students should wear comfortable, closed shoes (with socks)
• Bring a lunch (there is no place to buy food)
• Bring water (there is a lot of walking)
• Bring a hat or put on sunscreen in the morning (a lot of outdoor walking)
• No more than $5 for the gift shop.

We will leave on the buses at about 9 AM and plan to return at about 2 PM. 

Also, progress reports will go home tomorrow!

Reminder: Field trip permission forms and money must be turned in tomorrow! Students who have not turned in a signed form with the $5 fee by tomorrow will not be allowed to go on the field trip on Friday, so please help your student to remember to bring this in!

Update and Homework 11/13/12

In the week before Thanksgiving, we are piling up lots of events! An urgent one is our field trip to Pioneer Arizona Living History Museum. It will be this Friday (11/16/12) so time is short. Permission slips went out last Friday. Please return them ASAP with the $5 admission fee. Students who do not have a signed permission form will not go on the trip.We also need chaperons! Admission for adult chaperons is $4. (You will not be panning for gold!) Sign up as a chaperon on your student's permission form.

Tomorrow is the halfway point of the 2nd quarter, so we have a lot of tests. Most of the homework involves studying for the tests.
